Welcome. Thanks for checking out the crazy career of a young man and aspiring radio DJ. I joined a radio club when I was 12 and chased my broadcasting dreams clear across America. A dozen years later I was sitting in the “hot seat” at WLS-Chicago, a 50,000 watt rock and roll radio station with an estimated listenership of 9 million people. I like to say “radio was Facebook before Facebook.” Back then “we were social media before Al Gore invented the internet.”
